Savannah House (est. 1996) is an upholstery studio like none other … all perceived notions and images of the ancient trade flutter away once a client meets the owner, Rebecca Johnson and visits her studio – a petite haberdashery of fabrics, trims and chairs stacked from floor to ceiling. A native Oregonian, Ms. Johnson spent a year in Alabama where she learned to make cheese grits while earning her upholstery certification. For over a decade, Savannah House has been creating heirloom pieces for clients while also developing its signature line of upholstered furniture.
